I was thinking it'd be that you trigger an end-game event (which the Devs said may not necessarily happen late-game), and barely survive it, lose over half of your systems, maybe even two-thirds, either to rebellion, other nations, or death from the end-game event. Maybe this triggers an event that flags you as a 'Fallen Empire'? Maybe that even causes an ethos shift towards xenophobic as "your people" are now wary of the galaxy?

Another title for the acheivement might be Time, Destroyer of Worlds.

Which would add yet another acheivement to reference the Bhagavad Gita.

After all, eventually, no matter how hard your species try, it will eventually fade and die, becoming a fallen empire along the way potentially. Unless you lose in the same manner that Bar did in EU3 usually: Quickly.

Imperium of Man: As a Theocratic Human empire, destroy all other species/ enslave all other species.

The Imperium of Man is technically not a theocracy, not even a monarchy at the 40k point. More like a super oligarchic republic.

Haha, this is great, a ton of cool suggestions! We'll try to have a wide range of achievements in the game, from fun goofy ones to more mysterious or challenging ones. Keep an eye out for a few from this thread even.

Maybe there are some useable ideas in the pre-DD suggestion thread, those were quite fun also.
