Description
Abduction stance does not function while purge>necrophage is enabled

Game Version
9dc4 - 2.8.1

What version do you use?
Steam

What expansions do you have installed?
Synthetic Dawn, Utopia, Leviathans Story Pack, Apocalypse, Megacorp, Distant Stars, Ancient Relics, Lithoids, Federations

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
While using necrophage purge stance, raider bombardment does not appear to be stealing pops

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Necrophage origin, raiding stance (either ascension perk or despoiler), set default purge/necrophage, attempt to steal pops. Thats it

Attachment is a save of a fleet above a world in raiding stance. Note that pops decline, but do not get abducted. Swapping purge type to anything other than necrophage specific type seems to work exactly as expected.

As a workaround, abducting pops during war (under slavery rights) and then swapping out to necrophage purge works fine, but is needless rights micro.

Seeing as having species rights set as "Displacement, Neutering or Extermination" also kills pops instead of killing them when using the raiding bombardment stance (according to the wiki), maybe this is not a bug?

Though the raiding bombardment tooltip should be updated to say it'll kill pops with the Displacement/Neutering/Extermination/Necrophage rights (and probably other rights which lead to them getting killed instead of abducted), assuming that's intended behaviour, and it isn't already mentioned somewhere in the tooptips that I missed.

While I agree it is likely that it is working as designed, it is very likely not working as intended. Specific types of purges abduct people fine, like forced labor. Personally, I feel like straight abduction->death shouldnt happen in any case, if only to make things obvious. If I spend a specific, reasonably valuable resource (either a locked civic slot or a ascension perk) on this effect, Id like the effect to happen, after all.

Maybe then a simple fix would be to make pops in the purpose of necrophaging produce resources? So it would count as a job like forced labour.

Thanks for your swift reply!

Thanks for replying so quick! I'm curious if you've also logged the issue with Sacred Nexus giving one less job than other Tier 3 buildings or if it is working as intended, as that issue has been in the game since 2.6.

Hello again!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! 7 priests is indeed the intended number for this building, as not all tier3 buildings have 8 workers. For example, the Death Cult equivalent of that building - the "Temple of Grand Sacrifice" - only employs 5 priests. So this can vary.
Hope this answer helps!

Cheers,
Inez
