Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I'm at war with a fallen empire and end up getting a few "escort" class ships that I couldn't possibly build after I take over one of their starbases. Most likely there is some missing code to cancel constructions on capture.

I also noticed the same thing happening when in total war (assimilation) with a regular empire - receiving a few corvette ships of an AI empire design rather than my own.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Oh, I remember that. I captured Awakened Empire's Megashipyard and it finished constructing battlecruiser.
Due to missing graphics (regular empires don't usually have battlecruisers), it looked like a giant gun turret (due to L-slot weapons) flying around. It was funny, but I scrapped it because it was as useful as derelict cruiser.
