Description
[2.2.4] [f25b] Displacement actually exterminates instead

Game Version
2.2.4

What version do you use?

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
With species rights set to Displacement by default (I didn't change them), having taken over a planet I discovered that the pops seem to be being exterminated instead. Their "decline rate" is listed as +600%, which matches the tooltip for Extermination in the species rights purge type, although the rights of the species are clearly set to Displacement.

I was wondering why my formerly-friendly neighbour was getting so angry about me booting out some pops from my empire....

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Same here, all my allies broke any treaties with me and the neutral empires declare war on me one after another
So again another long time ironman game fucked up...
If i would get 1$ back for every game braking bug i encountered in this game so far i could play this game for free with all addons…

It took me some time, but it seems that the culprit is the purge = purge_normal assignment both in pop_jobs/00_other_jobs and pop_categories/02_other_categories. If you comment it out or delete it (remember about the space after the hash), you'll get your displacement back. Other purge types work as expected, too, from what I've tested.

Do note that it might break something I'm not aware of, but it's the only way I could make anything besides extermination work
possible solution

Just going to +1 my complaint with this here and bump it. Haven't been able to play my game since I tried out 2.2.4. Apparently 2.2.5 isn't helpful either.

I'd go to a previous version, but knowing the recent patches have dramatically increased performance, I can't possibly go back to 3 seconds per 1 day.
