The amount of whining you guys keep spewing makes it difficult for the devs to keep taking you seriously i wound think. Cmon the game is there already take it or leave it. It is a good game for people who like asymmetrical balacne and lots of options to try and choose from.

This is probably Eugen's main shortcoming. They are not able to distinguish good feedbacks from bad feedbacks. Look for example at the punishment for "cheating" applied at an handful of ranked players. They literally told Eugen that there was a problem and explained in details how it worked. Eugen replied "there are no problems". They seems to base their analysis of feedback on who posts not what is posted.

If a wehraboo, even if he is hitler himself, posts that the allies are OP with enough information to be falsifiable and everybody else disagrees, he can still be right.

Its pretty difficult to distinguish something between walls of text where people complain about 10v10 being not balanced enough, dat arty spam, dat air spam, dat tiger spam, dat UP allies and british, calling the devs names and basically saying how this game is dying because its not COH2 they better not bother doing it. And its not their fault, rather your own.

Are dev team on vacations? Because I don't see any activity on forum/blog/youtube and twitch channels. In the same time game slowly dying without any help from dev team.
Or maybe they are just as annoyed as everyone else about a few guys spamming a new complaint every few hours... ? Just a thought... Also: It's summer, so if you have children in school it's vacations now or never...

Edit: That may also be the reason why there are less people online...

It isn't though. Player counts for other RTS games that aren't imploding (DoW3's 25 fold collapse in a similar amount of time is gigantic compared to the 5 fold decline in SDN44 numbers) or dead (most recent RTS games, all of which have peak player count of 150) rose with the onset of summer.

In fact increased player availability in summer is such a well known phenomenon that players in eve online planned major campaigns around it.

You may be right, but that a number of other games have an increased number of players during holidays is no proof that it has to be that way in general or for SD44 in particular.

That only works if the games you compare SD44 to have a similarly structured player base and games take a similar amount of time (among others, I guess). For instance, if your player base is mostly made up of teenagers still in school, summer holidays may have a totally different impact than if you have, say, pensioners who can basically play whenever they want but use the good weather to work in the garden or something. Or, if your job only gives you an hour a day for gaming, you pick SD44 because you can just fit one match in, whereas during the holidays you can finally take the time for that epic grand strategy thing you always wanted to play but just couldn't get into with only one hour a day...
