Steamplay/Mac pre-order question

I'm currently using Bootcamp to run Windows on my Mac (playing the demo, which is great), but would prefer to play CK2 in native Mac OS X (as I do with other games) when it is released. I am also keen to pre-order on Steam now, but the version on there is only for Windows at the moment. I know the Mac version will be out soon after, but my question is this:

Will the Mac version on Steam simply be a Steamplay addition to the current Windows-only version? I.e. if I buy the windows version, when the Mac version is released I'll simply be able to play on Mac as well?

If I pre-order now I can get the extra DLC, which is why I'm keen to do so.

Any help people/devs can offer would be great, thanks!

That's awesome news, Johan! I was worried I'd have to wait until my break from college in late March to play CK2. Huzzah.
