[Steam Workshop] [Any version] FIXED: Subscribed mods do not download at all

I searched and found old threads for similar sounding problems, except I don't even get a 0kb zip file, I just see nothing. Nothing in the folder or of course the Mod tab in the launcher. Yes I have started/restarted the game to no effect.

Downloaded latest CK2Plus from a website, installed into mod folder in Documents, it works fine.

Latest Steam, Windows 8, Steam downloads set to auto update (and games updating as normal), Steam folder is in C:\Games\, running as administrator. Pretty annoying bug, want to call attention back to it. Some mods have only been updated in the Workshop.

Okay well, I did manage to find what was going on. Several game loads and even some hours of playing did not induce the game to move the mod zip it had downloaded.

I found the file here:

C:\Games\Steam\userdata\2654200\ugc\referenced\41982056333100165\mod

That is really not obvious, but the fix is. Hopefully people searching this in the future find this answer.

Do a File Search for the name/partial name of the Mod. Duh, right? It's much better than trying to figure out where the hell Steam put it in the numbered folders. Would be a lot better if the Workshop worked.

Once you move the .zip to your C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod you are not done, because you also must Create the .mod file by extracting descriptor.mod from the mod zip to the mod folder and renaming it to the [mod-name].zip. Now you can enable it in the mod tab of the launcher.

Is Steam Cloud Sync enabled in Steam?

Also, there's a limit of 50 or 60 mods I think.
