So i just bought SOA and I'm trying to get it to work. Is the sons of abraham dlc really only 190 bytes?

Well I believe it is just some text files to unlock the content that already exists somewhere in the files so probably. (I might be wrong but don't think I am)

I've got all the game-changing DLC, they show up in the launcher and i've got them selected, but they don't work when the game is running. I've already tried a fresh install of the game and that didn't work.
Mac, Linux or Windows?
EDIT: Duh never mind... did you delete any extra files after using steam to delete?
by that i mean use steam to delete then find any CK2 files that are still there including in your documents

dlc032.dlc is 168 bytes, dlc032.zip is 22 bytes, on my system.
Have you launched the game from Steam? You need to do that at least once for them to work.
Also you have to be on game version 2.0, not opted into the 1.111 beta.
okay, wow, all the SOA dlc is is an unlock-code for the patch.

I did keep a couple mini-mods that stuck in the base folder (Family relations and a ransom all mod), but each of those is two to three text files, is CK2's code that finicky?
