Steam Version -- Save Game File??

Does anyone who downloaded from Steam know where to find the saved games file?? I have looked through every everything in the CK2 folders and can't find it. I clearly have saved games as they show up when I load my game

The folder or files might be hidden so you need to show hidden files on your system to be able to see them.

Yes. Ran into this trying to find a save file to upload to support. Very irritating. They are not where the doc says they are.

You're probably unknowingly using the Steam Cloud for saving your games if they aren't appearing under your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings 2\Saves folder.

Try saving a game and look carefully at the dialog box that pops up. There's two tabs at the bottom- one for the Cloud and one for Local.
