Thought I might share my experience just now.
Saw EU4 for 75% off and thought yeah why not, I'm a huge HOI fan so I'll jump in.
Get to the Steam page and see a 30% positive review ratio. It's all people complaining about price and DLC policy.
I like the way Paradox supports it's games for years after initial release so I have no real problem with the reviews, or so I thought.
The more I read the more I think hhmm maybe I won't buy this game. In the end I passed on it as the total package is very expensive. If the collectors edition with all the DLC was 75% off I would of taken it but it's not.
This was my experience as a HOI and Paradox in general fan. Overall Positive reviews are down to 80% which is about double the bad reviews it previously had before this price hike debacle.
I imagine how many people are not buying EU4 as a result of the current review standings.
PS: Also I will never buy a game that has regional price fixing in place so I'm glad Paradox reversed their stance in that regard.
