Hello.

After my game on Steam got updated to 1.06b (LFOE), random coat of arms became seriously glitched. Most of them (19 out of 20?) are of the same color scheme and it is a deal-breaker with me playing this game.

Attached is the edited screenshot that should illustrate the problem:

I have completely uninstalled the game and deleted all the mods (automatic and manual deletion of local content from both the Steam folder and My Documents) trying to remedy the problem; however, re-installation did not fix the problem.

My only guess is that Steam update 1.06b (LFOE) is bugged, so if you want to replicate the issue–run the game on Steam once.

Please remedy this issue,
Thank you.

P.S.
I realize there are other threads on this very issue, but I thought it would be a good idea to make a well-structured thread with a screenshot in order to receive a staff answer on whether this would be fixed in an upcoming patch. As the game stands right now it is unplayable.

They want you to buy the Ruler designer DLC with this I suppose :p
I, actually, already bought it. And on the second though, Paradox might be doing that. Read below

Well, this is gonna be real weird, but I've found a solution to this problem. Sort of. What seems to be happening is that when you click on a character in the start game menu, a shield of three predesignated color is being assigned to him. So, it appears that everyone is of these three colors only because you can see only the guys that you click on. However, the CoA for the rest of the characters (the ones you did not click on in the start menu) is randomized correctly. So, the "solution" is to not click any character besides the one you are intending to play. This way only your dynasty would have a messed up shield.

Very interested in the paradox input on this. After all, I paid $40 for this game.

V/R,
Charles
