Not much more info than what we've got so far, but some interesting pics though.

So it looks like we've got currency (obviously), manpower, and some kind of stability mechanic. Not sure what the the other icons are though. Maybe some kind of laws mechanic (looking at the little scroll icon)?

From the icons underneath it looks like government(?) laws, military, production, and religion tabs. Don't know about the next three, but that last one looks like a family tab, maybe.

A lot of icons on the army on that battle pic, maybe something to do with tactical formations and/or battle options?

Also looks like a start date of 450BC, assuming they took the pics right after game start.

Looks really good so far. I love that map, it's beautiful! And those units too.

EDIT: Or is the date in AUC? So 303?

I think that was fog of war.

The screenshots were taken by playing as early Rome, who probably doesn't know what areas lie there yet.

I do hope they expand the fog of war more, for example Rome only knowing the Hellenistic world at start.

Looking at the france , it seems to me that you cannot "colonize" in terms of going in an "almost empty" province.
Probably there will be some mechanism to slowly spread your culture in a province.
That is what actually happened with the roman colonies .

Actually if you zoom in and look carefully there seem to be small eu4-like sea zones

There is, if you zoom in on the third picture, you can just about see the lines dividing the sea up.

The map will likely see some changes (HOI4's map did change a lot between annoucement and release) but it does look great! I hope minimum requirements don't go up much.

There seems to be a massive number of provinces - even in less populated places like Asturias or Algeria. I wonder how performance will be, especially when using a CK2-like character system.

Ill be honest i'm a bit sad at this one of the big draws of a greco roman era game for me would have been playing as
Vercingetorix or Boadicea and kicking the Romans to the curb and uniting gaul/britannia

I just noticed there's two different shades of terra incognita. There's the darker grey in southern Germany/Hungary, and then the lighter shade in Spain/North Africa. I'm guessing one is just FOW, and the other is maybe unplayable land. I would imagine that part of North Africa being empty, so not sure why it's the same colour as Spain.

It looks like we are getting some form of tactical battles to a certain degree at least.

Maybe some sort of option to change tactics or formation during a battle, so instead of just watching it play out and praying to RNGjesus we might actually be able to make choices to change the outcome. That would be great!

look again the Carpathians are clearly demarcated, look in iberian there are tribes whose territory enters the terra incognita, becoming, grey, it most likely means that, all the minimap will be playable, but verry few countries well see all of it

Guys a lot of the empty space / provinces will be colonisable, please look up how EU:Rome worked as they are obviously reusing many mechanics for the core of the game, though the exact implementation will obviously greatly differ.

For example the four small icons of different looking people in the province UI are certainly the four different types of pops (it was 3 in EU: Rome IIRC) which Johan mentioned in his into speech. I can't remember the exact names but it's something like upper classes / urban workers / rural workers / slaves, in that order from the top, judging by the icons.

Ok, I mean "big Sea zones" . Definitely bigger than in eu4, where you can put the navy to blockade a specific port
