Hi there,

that's probably a minor problem, but still something I would like to ask about. I've just bought some CK DLC's [SoI, OG, SoA, RoI] and suddenly Steam ceased to detect the installed files of Crusader Kings 2. Restarting Steam doesn't work. I could probably just tell Steam to install in the folder where the files are already located? Or should I delete the files manually and install anew? And if I install over, what shall happen with save/mod files?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Can you explain in more detail what exact problem you are having, and how it got that way?

Those are kept in documents/paradox/ck2 area, of which Steam itself is completely unaware.

Steam kept telling me that CKII is not installed and that I should install it to play. Even though I played it just before buying the DLCs. Clicking on the CK2 icon on desktop sent me to the installation process (not installation of DLCs, mid you, but of CKII O,o)

Restarting the PC seems to have fixed the problem. Still, it was kinda strange.
