Well, I just bought the Steam Paradox Pack and the CD keys Steam supplies will not register on these forums. I know it works, because I registered EU3 Complete from Steam CD keys prior to this. But none of the games will accept my keys.

I bought the Paradox complete pack and there are several issues with the CD-keys:
Invalid:
Europa Universalis: Rome - Gold Edition
Too long: (strings consisting of 5 characters instead of 4 characters)
Ship Simulator Extremes
Missing:
Supreme Ruler 2020
Penumbra: Black Plague
Lionheart - Kings' Crusade
Lead & Gold - Gangs of the Wild West
East India Company

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
You can find your CD Key by right-clicking on the game in your Library and selecting 'View Game CD Key'.
Please be aware that if you are unable to see your entire key at once, the product column, as well as the window itself, can both be resized. The column can be widened by dragging the black bar next to "Product Code", and the window can be resized by dragging on the bottom right corner where the white dots appear.
If the 'View Game CD Key' option is not available, you may need to verify the game files for this game.

NOTE: If you are running in Windows Vista or Windows 7, you will need to ensure you are running Steam as Administrator. To do this, completely exit Steam, and right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam and select "Run as Administrator."
If you have any further difficulty, please let us know.

I know where to find the CD-Keys I registered a number of games successfully. The ones I listed should have a CD-Key however, but none is provided. Or an invalid one, or one that is in the wrong format for the Paradox forum to register for the support.

Please let us know if you experience further difficulties, or if you have additional questions or concerns.
Sorry that people are encountering these problems, we will work to fix the situation when the appropriate people get back from vacation.
In the mean time while you wait to be able to register the games at least with Paradox titles you can still enjoy the complete game without registering it. (score one for a company that listens and for user rights).
Steam sux.
Go for Gamers Gate instead. I have never had any problems with their games.
Edit/
There seems to have been problems for a long time with Paradox Vs Steam, so there should be an (official) recomendation to use GG instead.../ end of edit

I just bought Warband. No matter what I do, the code is deemed invalid.
I've had a CD key issue with GG before as well (was a PI game too). It was promptly fixed with fast and helpful responses from both GG and PI. I have no doubt in my mind that this issue, this time at Steam, will also be corrected. Technical issues happen. I have over 120 Steam games, and that's the first time I have run into a CD key problem with them. Seems minor. (I buy games from both, and occasionally even Impulse and GoG.)
Did you fill out the missing spaces with "xxxx"´s ?
I got an idea, not sure how successful it would be though. Is there a way for Paradox to check the games a user has on Steam accounts?
Idea being, similar to a facebook connect, you link your Steam account to your paradox account, paradox can then check that persons Steam account for their titles, then just give the icons accordingly.
Could do a similar scenario for Gamersgate and Impulse too.
