Steam issues

Ever since I got Rajas (today, a friend got it for me during the Steam sale), I've been having problems. First, I had to uninstall and reinstall to get Rajas to start working. Then, after the game crashed at one point (I alt-tabbed to check Facebook and it wouldn't come back), it was unable to successfully launch again. I tried restarting Steam, I tried restarting my computer, nothing changed. I decided to verify integrity and it just got stuck on "An error occurred while updating Crusader Kings II (disk write error)." I decided to uninstall and reinstall, but it still got stuck on the same part.

Let's try a full Steam refresh.

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- exit Steam
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- manually delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the /SteamApps/ folder.
- manually run steam.exe and let it rebuild everything
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

It worked after I did all of that and restarted. Didn't clear out Documents, though.
