Is anyone else unable to sync to the cloud at the moment? My Steam does not seem to be able to connect even though I can go on the internet and post this message. I was rudely interrupted by Could not sync to Cloud just as I had received an extremely lovely event which would have given me some nice relationship boosts with my neighbors.

I love the Ironman mode... It keeps us honest. Which is unfortunate when my connection with Steam seems to have issues...

Ah. Then I am glad I am not alone in this suffering. I assume the Steam Cloud service experiencing a heavy load would mean at least there are people still able to connect? I wonder who their cloud service is... Amazon, Azure, Rackspace...

Just opened the game up and there were no files appearing in the cloud. I tried restarting EU4 and it gave me this message:

"Steam was unable to sync your files for Europa Universalis IV with the Steam Cloud

If you have launched this application from another computer, your application settings and/or progress may not be in sync with what is stored in the Cloud. If you launch the application now, you may lose those changes or progress."

Well. Worst case scenario... Steam Cloud service is not the best solution for EU IV and we move to something more reliable/stable? :p Of course that could potentially be a nightmare to program. Most likely they will try to resolve this syncing problem and prevent it from happening in the future. (fingers crossed)

Not sure what you mean by "between 2 computers"; the sync is between the PC you are on and Steam, and happens when you exit the game. You should see the game name go yellow in your Steam client for a second. If it is not syncing back to Steam, then theres either an issue with the Steam servers, your PC, or something in between. have you checked the required ports are open?
