Steam halloween sale. Eu4 collection 75% off, but not any individual DLCs

Anyways, there's currently a 75% EU4 sale on steam. This includes the "Grand strategy collection" (CK2+EU4+V2+HOI3), the "EU4 Collection" (all DLC except the newest) and the base game. None of the individual DLCs are on sale.

Is this a mistake or a clever ploy to temp me to buy the 23,24€ collection instead of just buying the things I want?

Not as bad as their Paradox sale week. They had 33% off on the grand collection, which thus cost more than the individual items which were ~75% off each.

Anyway, CoP currently 75% off on the Paradox website, as is WoN.

It is strange that the collection is 75% off but none of the individual DLCs are. I have been wanting to pick up the older cosmetic DLCs and Res Publica but paying full price is a bit icky.

Im guessing mistake. It is awfully strange to have only the collections at 75% off and not the the individual items.

I'm kind of annoyed about Res Publica not being on sale. I got CoP and WoN for less money then it would cost to buy Res Publica which I would also like to buy but not for £4.

Why should I buy stuff I already have, though? Considering the cost of the collection, on sale, is only 3$ less than the cost of the missing DLCs I would pretty much be buying at full price.

I picked up the main game only for 10$ on gamersgate, definitely saw the DLC conquest of paradise and WoN there for 75% off as well. I imagine Res Republica wasnt including due to being more recent. When that DLC gets a bit older i imagine it will be on sale as well in future sales. (after thanksgiving or maybe christmass sounds likely to me?)

Huh...i have no explanation for that then. I definitely would have gotten that DLC if it was included but the WoN\conquest gamefeatures didnt interest me so much.

The error was Wealth of Nations only being 33% off... it was supposed to be 50% like Res Publica IIRC.
