Steam CD Key?

I own the East India Company and several other paradox games on steam. A vast amount of them do not have Steam CD key so I can't register my games on the forum. I understand that they do not need cd keys to play online.etc. Its just that I want all my preaty Icons. Does anyone know how I can get my games registered?

Have you looked in Steam in the games library? Rightclicking on the games name gives a menu and some games have the option to "View game CD-key".

Not all Paradox games or boxes however can be registered. If you click on "My Games" at the top of this forum´s page you´ll get a list of games that actually can be registered here on the forum.

Yes I have done that. Steam does not give me a cd key for East India Company and several other games. I buy all my games on steam so therefore i'm aware of how the Steam CD key system works.

It's Steam's responsibility to distribute forum registration keys. If there really are none visible in your Steam library for games that are registerable (ie show up under the MyGames link above) you need to log a ticket with Steam and ask for them.

"East India Company Gold" was redeemable on Steam but it is not sold. It does not provide you any CD Key and when you look at the store page for East India Company, it appears as if you don't own the game and the dlcs.

NOT true, Paradox provided me with a cd key and registered for Cities in Motion to my account for me when no cd key was to be found in Steam.

Don't steam say you should support the companies and not them if there is something wrong with non Valve games? I'm pretty sure of that, but not 100%.

For a few of my games I took pictures and sent them in to show proof that I owned the game. Once I did that I got the icons credited to my account. You may need to do the same.

Mh I might have to do that as well have quiet a few of the older ones that do not have a key.
