I'm thinking about buying HoI IV. Right now it costs £20.99 in the steam sale.
There's also a bundle, the Paradox Grand Strategy Collection. It contains HoI IV and three other games I already own, which means the bundle costs me £18.89 (because Steam decreases bundle costs when you already own some games in the bundle). So far, so good.

When I go to buy the bundle, however, it displays in the cart as costing £25.63, with the subtitle "Includes 2 items: Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition, Crusader Kings II". If I continue through the purchase process, a pop-up appears to inform me that, as I already own CKII, I will not receive an extra copy of it. Which is it, Steam, do I own it or not? (I assure you, I do own it!)

This behaviour repeats upon removing the bundle from my cart and re-adding it, it also does the same whether using a browser or the Steam client.

Feels to me like a bug in the Steam store, though I imagine it could also be an error in how Paradox have set up the bundle.

Anyway, getting assistance from Steam is harder than getting a sword out of a stone, let alone blood, so I thought it might be best to ask here. At the very least, you might be able to get Steam to listen if it's not your fault. :)

I have tested this with another bundle where I also own 3 out of 4 games (a Zachtronics bundle, I think it was). This one worked correctly.
