Running 1.07c now.

OSX 10.10.2

Assets load
Saved games load (both 1.06b and 107b saves).
Mods load.
Still unable to save a game to Steam Cloud (only works in 1.06b). I get the following error:

An error occured while packaging to the save file.

A backup was created at /Volumes/Promise Pegasus/<username>/Library/Application Support/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/Saves/17a0d15c-518a-423e-98f8-97f766cf4b0e.ccs and should still be loadable. [System.IO.IOException]

Game crashes within 1-10secs after clicking on "Continue Game"

This seems unrelated to the patch. However, there is currently a "faulty" workshop item preview image causing the crash on linux. We are working on fixing it, in the meanwhile, set your Steam to offline mode and it will prevent loading the image causing the crash.
Hope that helps!

Very glad you guts/girls decided to open up a closed beta for us, you will find you will have hundreds if not thousands of people trying/testing it and reporting back. - Us hard core types love a challenge and when we see the word "beta" in a download we jump all over it both feet first :p
There just seems something in the word "beta" that gets a lot of us excited, because we know we may be able to help and be a small part of the development (just by testing) of a game.
Will report back soon as I have anything :D

Can you remember if you have a lot of saves on the cloud already or if this happened since the first time you tried to use it?

I had 61 Steam Cloud saved games when it occurred. The error occurred on my first attempt to save a game to Steam Cloud after installing 1.07b.

Reverting back to 1.06b allows me to save to Steam Cloud.

If helpful I can delete old Steam Cloud saves (is that possible?) and attempt a new Stem Cloud save with 1.07b or 1.07c..

Perhaps I'm just out of space?

No need to try that quite yet. This is very helpful already!
Also, if you were out of space, I would expect it to fail in 1.0.6b as well.

EDIT: Oh, I was on the forum from a mobile device and did not see the picture... This does look a lot like you are indeed out of space.

Query: I renamed all my saves locally, but when I load up Skyllines and goto load game, it only shows the old filenames.
I have steam cloud turned OFF in my global settings, so it should not be looking to there for my saves (unless for some reason skylines ignores the global settings and still saves to the cloud?)

Hi NZSimplicity,

Why did you rename the save games instead of the whole Save folder? (if you are referring to making backups as the original post suggests)
Anyhow, CRP files are containers for game data so they may contain a lot of other things than the save game in it too, because of that, renaming the file does not affect the name of the content inside it, which is why you still see the name of the old files as those remain unchanged.
Hope that helps :)

Oh, I just realize you want to put a version number next to your saves.. Currently, you can only do that when you write the name of the save in the save panel.

Did you enter the password and pressed the Check code button? The branch will only show up in the list after you have done that.
Cheers
