I've a question which came to my mind today and want to ask you HoI buffs out there?

When you are allied to someone you have access to his ports and can send convoys to them. So I think it must be possible to send a convoy from an allied port to one of yours and check every resource. This way the convoy will transport every resource produced in this port to you?

I know I'm a sneaky person but hey everything is allowed in love and war :p hehehe

To answer your question:

Yes, you can send any resource and/or supplies - simply set up the convoy like you would if it was between two of your ports. And btw - it can be any country, could even technically be an enemy port.

Remember never to be in a cooperative venture with Klaus V. Guntner. He cannot be trusted. Best to keep him in front of you with both eyes on him, so you can see the knife coming.

noted :D

p.s. All is fair in love and war.

Wait a minute... You can't send a convoy from an ally to you, if you click on a province that doesn't belong to you, it makes it the end point of the convoy, not the start. You also can't send resources to countries you are at war with, the convoy won't send anything. (readme from 1.03, IIRC)

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I think you misread the question. His question was if you could set up a convoy FROM your ally TO your home port, stealing all his resources. The answer to that question then is, "no". :)

Ah that's bad it isn't possible. Hmm you see no trouble I can't do it after all so you can trust me, yes really I'm honest until I find the next dirty trick :p (disappears again into his dark planing room to think about new ways of betraying) Also I think this isn’t steeling but you can call it:
self-service lend-lease
You don’t wait till someone send you things you just take them. You just speed up the process.

I have to say that I’m really a reliable person you can count on me until I can work out a better deal with the others
