Is it just me that thinks when In a war with multiple empires, if they send a status quo request your way you should have to vote on it with the rest of your side? It seems very unfair that it’s all up to the person that started the war. Good example of this is an empire declared war on my defence pact Ally, so I was like okay time to help, the AI proceeded to only attack me and I had 0 help from the guy he actually declared war on who was ironically 2 systems away the whole war with a fleet twice the enemies size but what annoyed me was after I lost 7 systems my shiny new fleet had finally finished and I was ready to go for the guys throat, just as I approach my lost territory “War has ended with a status quo” and it turns out the enemy has took my systems because of claims despite again the war not actually being declared against me. We had maybe 40% exhaustion and I lost my whole outer space because the AI decided to end the war after losing and doing virtually nothing the whole time. Why did I not get a say in basically surrendering what I own in a war I had to fight in? Seems very unfair and unrealistic to let my Ally dictate wether I get to reclaim my systems or not

That's not fair and while i'd hope for a fix, i wouldn't hold my breath...

This game is full of examples of unfair things the a.i. can do which we can't.

For example, while haven't played this game in a few months (but plan to this weekend with the new patch) and i haven't been in a war since before version 2.0.

That said, something that used to happen and probably still does is that there was nothing to stop multiple a.i. empires declaring war on you at once, often catching you " with your pants down", however if you tried to declare war on an a.i. already at war, the game wouldn't let you...

Which was particularly what you'd want to do if you'd been made a vassel of a larger empire - your war of independance would have to wait 'til they were ready! .

Similarly, multiple human vassels at least, couldn't join each other in a war of independance - if one declared independance, the others would be instructed to attack those wanting to break free, even if they'd been allies subjugated together! .

I don’t know about your first issue still being a thing but the second two definitely sound terrible. But by far my most annoying find has been an issue for over a year almost now as well since we got 2.2 and it’s that you cannot invite anyone to actually help you in a war anymore, unless you are in a federation there is no UI to actually ask other empires to help when you press invite attackers. It’s really ruining the game for me I’ve posted multiple threads in the past 8 odd months about it

Yeah I agree its is a problem which still hasn't been fixed yet on pc so we got await. I think paradox need to spend some time fixing the systems in the game like this one before adding new ones in to the mix.
