Just my thought! I was to open a thread but you got it first! Yes, please! We need a patch to play the game without fears that our metro stations will show minus passengers, or have an empty highway with an ultra-congested road to the right...

If only they made metros change track without depots/loops...

[sarcasm] Yeah because it is completely unplayable at the moment right? [/sarcasm]

PS: People who compare the Cim2 launch to SimCity are just ridiculous imho.

If you're completely new to the game, yes it is pretty difficult to get going and is not a very pleasurable experience.
Who compared it to SimCity launch anyway ?

Thanks for the info.
Would it be possible to adress the bugs or gamechanges which are planned to be fixed with patch1?
Thats not usual in this business, but with my experience here in the forums there might be a chance that we will get more information than usual.

Aqua77, the main issues with the future patch will be adding an edge scrolling option, adding a quicksave key, adding a close window function to esc-key, and we are looking to see what would be the best way to fix the underground mode. The weird tree behaviour when alt+tabbing should already be fixed. A lot more of minor bugs will also be fixed, but these are the main design issues we are working on right now.

Thank you very much to repair the game, which allows us to add more fun.笑道:

Is it just me or am I missing one of the biggest issues here? (Atleast for me it is.)
Not being able to quick save or edge scrolling or clossing all windows at once isn't a deal breaker at all for me. I'm more concerned about the ingame speed and time rate.
One of the things you advertised with are the timetables. But it just don't work very well at this moment as you can see at many forums where they talk about the game.

So "upgrading" the game it self should be more of a priority then just a few handy functions? It's not like okay now that I can scroll on the edges all other things can wait for another patch.
People can use the ASDW buttons for that and just close the windows after being done. There is no way I can change the ingame speed to a level that the rush hours indeed is happening between 8am and 10am.
And not like 8am until 3pm or even later....

I'm like. Wtf did the Beta testers do while gaming?
Shouldn't they figure out the timetable/rate issue?

Multiplayer patch is just out! We wanted to publish it separately as soon possible because it was such a huge defect in the game. We are still working on another patch to fix more bugs.

Can you please add a sticky thread to this forum where you post the patch notes of every patch? It's always nice to see what a patch actually does plus people who like to buy the game are probably interested too if a problem they heard about is solved.

Sticky patch notes thread added! I have to revise what I said before, esc windows closing made it already to this patch.

MiSpA51, I'm still reading through all the feedback on the game pacing. We did a lot of work with it, and I personally feel the game is pretty well in balance right now. I will promise to keep my eye on feedback on this issue.

The issue is that most vehicles take from 6 to 8 hours to complete the line. That makes it nearly impossible to indeed increase train frequency just for the rush hour.

To avoid any issue such as night frequency being operated during the morning rush, I actually make vehicles start at the same frequency during the whole 24-hour cycle. This is indeed the main gameplay flaw I've experienced so far.

The most obvious solution would be to make game minutes last longer, at least 4 seconds. I only hope this is possible without impacting other aspects such as traffic flow.
