Statue Portraits?

The portrait system looks really awesome. How cool would it be for dead characters to look like bronze or marble statues as that is pretty much how we think of Caesar or Pompey or Pyrrhus or Alexander etc? (Optional would probably be best) - or functionality for statue skins could be fun for AARs? Just a thought - really doesn’t matter much either way!! I don’t think it’s very likely either but who knows...

It would also work well with Indian characters because traditions of statue/sculpture creation was really strong in India.

Option for both? But personally I am partial to the unpainted stone look because that’s just how I think of these historical figures. It gives the sense of a long time past and grand history. They were indeed painted at the time but for AARs it would be nice to have bare marble in the same way as Roman text books now have pictures of the major players in the unpainted stone. But both would be pretty cool!!

I mean if they wanted to be really fancy they could have recently dead characters have fully painted statue portraits which gradually decay into bare bronze/marble as you move further into the future... I'm not exactly expecting this though!

In the family trees of the major characters of your country as in EU: Rome and CK2 I expect. I would be very surprised if you could not look back through some of your great characters of the past as you go. Statue portraits or not I expect this to be in the game at least otherwise it’s a pretty major step back from EU: Rome.
