stats explained please

I'm getting back into HOI2 - trying to refamiliarize myself with all the concepts & how it all works.

I recall once knowning what all the unit stats ment - like soft attack, hard attack, toughness, etc...

I read over the HOI2 wiki but there doesn't seem to be any explanation - can't search in this forum, due to a lack of search function.

ANyone know of a guide that explains it?

Read through the FAQ forum again - it only showed the posts within last 1 month. I changed that and i found this gem from 2005.
