I am a big fan of HOI, but I was always puzzled why they did not include military causality statistics. Most (if not all) nations are constrained by manpower, and as the campaign moves forward this can become quite a critical issue. Generally I can tell if a campaign is "going well" or "going badly", but it is hard sometimes to quantify just what that means.
Also, especially as Germany, you may go through a series of campaigns but find yourself in real danger with a prolonged war with the Soviets. Trying to minimizes losses in prior campaigns, and maximize enemy losses, is really quite important.
Anyways, I think this would be a great feature (and one I wish was in a HOI II patch), that really would extend, and enhance, gameplay. Especially if one could isolate losses associated with particular campaigns or in the war at large. That way a player could break down success and failure in more concrete terms, and work on enhancing the efficiency of their tactics.
