Hey guys and gals,
I thought that the Personal Diplomacy opinion modifier ony applied to courtiers and the
State diplomacy mofifier was applied to your vassels. As you can see from the screenshots, first of all
several of my vassels (I'm only showing you one but there are more) are showing as "Your kinsman" instead of "Your vassal". This is creating the situation of
the game applying the "Personal Diplomacy" modifier instead of the "State diplomacy modifier".
Am I wrong on this or has something changed?
Thanks

The Personal Diplomacy modifier comes up when you do some sort of personal interaction with that specific person eg get them married, marry a child to their kid etc. Can happen to a courtier, vassal or even someone in another court.

Personal diplomacy also applies to council members, and seeing that he is your steward it seems normal.
Also why the duke you show not the same one as the opinion belongs to? He is spymaster instead of steward, or is he somehow both?

Your right Flamewalker, I posted the wrong screenshot but the point I was making still applies.

I reloaded the save game and now there is NO Diplomacy modifier at all for any of my council members?????
