So when i set state edicts i usually forget to disable them when i don't need them so i end up going many many years with them active for no reason.

For example during a war i set some defensive edicts in states with Forts and after a war i forget to turn them off.

Give us an option to set a time on an Edict, for example i would put my defensive Edicts for 5 years during war so they would automatically run out after 5 years.

Also i would like a pop up that tells you that the edict run out so you can easly put a new one in.

I think it would be a small addition but very welcome one.

I would like to add to this the ability to apply edicts to multiple states all at once from the macro builder. In my current game I have 48 states. If I want to turn on the institution spread edict in all of them, and then turn it off again later, that requires 192 mouse clicks to cycle through all the button presses from the macro builder.

I would appreciate the ability to select multiple states at the same time on the macro builder, as well as a button to "select all states" for adding/removing an edict.

Good idea.
