Startscreen menu are not working

The games starts alright and the main menu appear (single player game, multiplayer game, options etc) but nothing happens when I click on any of the buttons.

That dxdiag shows you as having just an Intel HD 4000, do you perhaps have one of those dual GPU setups? If so, use the nVidia Optimus utility to force the game to use the nVidia card instead.

If that's not the case, lease post your settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload). Also open setup.log, search for "checksum", and paste that line only in here.
