I could be wrong, but as far as I'm aware, you can't. All of the diseases that can be present in a province are just random chances rather than being actual events that can be fired. The bubonic plague is just scripted to only be allowed to trigger between 1300 and 1400.Hi, anyone knows the event that launch the black plague/ bubonic plague ?

}
A disease being present in a province will reduce taxes and the supply limit of the province.Do diseases have any other consequences asides from killing characters? Do they affect the provinces and/or armies as well?

I never saw it but the health penalty is -7, so I guess it kills everyone instantly in one iteration of the game (IIRC it's 4 days), so ... civil wars ^^Looking at the event posted further above, it affects city tax quite heavily, along with supply limit, but other than that, I can't see much of a change, which is a shame.
Wow.There is an event that triggers telling you about it, if it starts in your realm. I have seen it 3 times now and on one of those 3 occasions it spread like wild fired accross western Europe and killed many people causing succession issues in all of my neighbours.
