I created this map in the game's map editor using real life height data and am now going to start to build the city of my birth, London! I thought i'd share a couple of pics with you and if you like, I can give updates as the city progresses.

The starting tile coveres a bit of the Isle of Dogs and most of Wapping E1 north of the river and Rotherhithe SE16 to the south. It's actually a bit of a challenge to start with as you haven't got that much land area to use and there are no bridges on this part of the Thames,

It's not long before we can spread out though,

A typical East-End street layout with back-to-back housing,

Here is where I am so far, just starting to cross the river at London and Tower bridges and spreading industry to the old Silvertown area in the east,

Obviously, It's not possible to be 100% accurate but I'm going to try to stay faithful how London is roughly laid out, including bridges, industrial areas, etc. Anyone else recreating a real place?
