I am working on a scenario beginning in 1328. As a starting base I use the 1419 scenario (version 1.3 beta 29 december). I have made several country-related modifications. I have also changed the startdate in both header and globaldata files.
The scenario loads without any problem. The modifications implemented appear. The startdate is 22 august 1328 as I want to. But as soon as I start the game, the startdate gets automatically to 1 january 1419.

Is there any no limit patch required ? Or do we have to start a game from 1419 onwards ?

I appreciate any help.

Can you provide a copy of the text of your scenario files? Because there's a lot of dates you have to change for your mod to work.

Here's an example from WATKBAOI's 1337 scenario.

absolutestartyear = 1337
startyear = 1337
endyear = 1914
startdate = { day = 0 month = january year = 1337 }

There are several existing mods that start before 1419, see:

Here are some extracts from my files:

#
# 1328 - The Grand Campaign (1.3 update)
#

#
# Global Data
#

globaldata = {
startdate = { day = 22 month = august year = 1328 }
enddate = { day = 29 month = december year = 1819 }

#
# 1328 - The Grand Campaign (1.3 update)
#

header = {
name = "The Grand Campaign"
startyear = 1328
endyear = 1819
startdate = { day = 22 month = august year = 1328 }

Do you think I should refer to an "absolutestartyear" as the WATKBAOI's 1337 scenario does ?

There are several existing mods that start before 1419, see:

I know. That's why I think I have done something wrong.

Do you think that using 1419 scenario as a to-be-modified basis might have an impact ?

You need to change your header to this:
Code:
name = "The Grand Campaign"
absolutestartyear = 1328
startyear = 1328
endyear = 1819
startdate = { day = 22 month = august year = 1328 }

The "absolutestartyear" line is required to start earlier than 1419.

It should be noted that there are other calculations that also depend on absolutestartyear. So if you change absolutestartyear, you might also want to update all the "average_years" values in the technology files (in \db\technologies\) as well as the defines (in \db\defines.txt) that end in "_OFFSET_".
