Starting a faction and keeping my turf

It has been awhile since I played and I have a question about becoming king. I am a lord of Swadia and was granted a town, let’s call Town A since I don’t remember the name, when I can I’ve be garrisoning recruits there so I don’t have to worry about it being attacked have about 230 troops there now.

My plan is to attack another nearby town, let’s call it Town B, if I take and ask for it as a reward and the king refuse and I decide to rebel do I get to keep Town A and B or do I lose my first town I received. I’d like to know so I’m not wasting my time collecting troops for a garrison.

You will keep both as you no longer recognize the King as the legitimate authority.

230 troops have better to be elite troops.

Thank you I wasn't sure about what I could keep.

I do have some elite troops that I usally always have with me. I just keep the recruits at the town so the AI won't attack it. I forgot the exact amount either 300 or 400 and the AI usally leaves it alone.
