stardock registration code sux

Yes, I'm quite put out right now. I['m really starting to HATE stardock. Their customer service really is terrible now, ever since the economy tanked and they shut down their great phone support.

Anyways, i bought EIC from stardock instead of gamersgate and the stardock registration coding is not what will fit in the registration code boxes on the paradox site.

wtf??? why does stardock have 5 digit codes where everyone else uses only 4 digit codes for game registrations???

Don't companies talk to each other about crap like this??? i mean registration is supposed to be important isn't it?

so if someone from EIC maker replies i will give them the stupid stardock 5 digit code so they can give me a good 4 digit code to put on the paradox site with the rest of the games i have from paradox.

I know this seems trivial but registration is supposed to be an important part of a game now-a-days... isn't it?

Yes unfortunately the cd key system Impulse/Stardock uses is their own and therefore not compatible with registeration system here. Steam users have the same problem, they don't have a key at all. The only thing you'll lose by not registering is the EIC icon below your avatar here at the forums. For example tech support doesn't require registeration.

oh geezzzz.. another reason to NOT get anything else through Stardock and they were so darn good with their earlier games. i guess their staff changes really are dong them in. it's unfortunate, they were so customer friendly a year ago.

Please PM me your Impulse nickname so I can verify that you have a valid EIC registration key on the Impulse side of things.
