I recently found this pic of diocese and archbishopric flags, (bistum and erzbistum in german).

What interests me is flags no. 1, 3, 4, 12 and 14.

1. Köln, Erzbistum, (Archbishopric)

3. Mainz, Erzbistum, (Archbishopric)

4. Salzburg, Erzbistum, (Archbishopric)

12. Würzburg, Bistum, (Diocese)

14. Strassburg, Bistum, (Diocese)

Since Köln and Salzburg is more or less correct, to my knowledge. Wouldn't Mainz, Strassburg and Wurzburg be accurate for the GC as well?
Anyone who knows?

Well I cheated, I had to look at the website to see what it said.
The weird thing is that I thought that the flag of the A. of Trier looked like this.

That's the flag of Speier. What that now is...

EDIT: That's suppose to be Speyer in english, guess that the site got it wrong.

By the way, I thought Trier was the St. Georges too... mind you the definition of the "St. George's" can be somewhat open to interpretation. Someone changed the colour scheme?

Yeah, that's probably why.

This roll of arms is a bit tricky, but I guess since it's a bit old and not in the best condition there might be some errors.

Funny, it never occured to me what it means in english, but it was hardly meant this way. It's more likely a german abbrevation of the latin form Borbetomagus.
