Hi,

I observed now in 3 of my games that ottoman stacks wont stack wipe. In my current game there is an tur army retreating between lyon and bresse , where i have stationed in those provinces my own army. They now have lost about 10 times or so and move between and wont lose soldiers in fight nor wipe.
Were there changes?

I have seen this many times in previous patches if the army got a month tick between the battles. Then they recover morale and are over the threshold for an immediate stackwipe. In your screenshot this doesn't seem to be happening, but maybe it happend in the previous battles.
1.30 also introduced a rule that an army which can fill its combat width can't be 10:1 stackwiped. Maybe that also applies to low morale stackwipes at the start of the battle.
And you can't stackwipe the army during the first 12 days of the battle, because you don't have twice as many troops as your enemy(this rule is old).

Zombie regiments. The TLDR as far as I've understood it: They deploy 0 man, 0 morale regiments on the frontline, but they cannot retreat before 12 days have passed. This means the game runs "combat" for 12 days, but the regiments can't break, since they're already broken, and can't lose men, since they're all dead. Old problem.

it's just so hillarious running a stack of 300x 0 strength regiments and just killing everything

Conversaly you/the AI can get absolutely stomped by an army composed entirely of low strength regiments that do some damage and then auto-retreat.

I think if a regiment reaches zero it should be deleted in my opinion. It’s seems weird to have regiments with zero men walking around affecting combat.
At the very least, incapable of being deployed for combat. I like having 0-strengths around to avoid micro-intensive reinforcing. Even if you made it so 0-strengths could only be reinforced in friendly territories, to represent effectively re-recruiting them, that'd save a *lot* of clicks.
