Anyone have an idea whether we'll get the last backer Michael Stackpole novella at launch?

Been really looking forward to that one. Read the other novellas a couple of times

In a perfect world it would be released a few day's before launch, so I have something to read while I wait the last few days, but I'm not going to expect it.

Wait a minute. I just checked the Kickstarter missions. We achieve 60 points, according to the graphic, so the e-novellas were supposed to be replaced by a single full-length novel. Did I miss something?

The fourth novella will complete the novel.

Mitch answered this a while back. It turns out that Stackpole actually wanted to write four linked novellas rather than one novel.

Is this novel a backer exclusive? Or can the rest of us scrubs get access/buy it?

I forget where I heard it, but I'm pretty sure that after all the novellas are released, it'll be up for purchase as a single volume. It's doubtful that the story itself was really meant to be exclusive to backers anyway - our reward was just free copies of the novellas as they're written, rather than waiting for it all to be finished.

I don't know any details on when or where to get it though, but I'd guess either directly through HBS or Catalyst Game Labs, which handles all the other BT fiction. Hopefully somebody else here has better information?

Some people might not like his novels, but I always enjoyed them. He had to cover the high level politics going on in many novels, I was always impressed with his ability to keep them under 1000 pages. I also thought his Warrior Trilogy and Blood of Kerensky series were very well done and I have read them often. I would love to read these novellas when us common folk get the chance....

I am trying to think of what you are saying about his work ethic in that statement, or what you said v what you tried to say...I will be at this a while, status updates to follow.
