One of my gripes that I hope could be changed for a 1.04 would be either one of two things for naval units:

1) Allow a moddable stacking penalty by type.

2) Allow a maximum number of a unit in a stack.

My reasoning is mainly for the naval game. Rarely have I ever read anywhere where more than 4 CV grouped into a single task force, I think 6 was the most on a very rare occasion. Likewise, rarely were more than 20 submarines grouped together into a wolfpack. Personally I roleplay and limit myslef to stacks of 4 subs. I also never build those killer stacks of 20 CL or DD or CA or whatever the flavor of the moment may be. If that worked IRL I think it would have been done. It was not done becasue it is ridiculous.

For land units would it be possible to have the stacking penalty modified by terrain or infrastructure. I don't think it should EVER be possible to have five corps attacking some out of the way jungle or desert province. Simply didn't happen on that large of a scale for a reason: logistics.

My apologies if these have been suggested before, but I am way too lazy to read all of this thread...:)
