ATM I'm playing as England. Got Ireland, most of France, Kaffa and actively colonizing the Hordes. Changed religion to orthodox by giving up in a war, and started to convert my lands. When conversion was max 30% done, I moved capital to Azow and switched culture to Mongol.

Strange part for me is stab cost. England has CAD, 4 Serfdom, 4 Narrowmindness and bunch of stab affecting desicions, both positive and negative. All of my provinces show negative numbers in required stability, and recovering 1 stab was around 340 gp at its height, and now it's down by a hundred. With monthly income bigger than stab cost, even -5 hits are no brainers. Capital move/cultural shift took less than 6 months to recover, although advisor event helped a bit.

This is strange. I'm thinking about trying Serf/Narrow Ottomans just to see how they can handle their enormous stab problem in early game. Recovering stability for years and even decades in a row is quite common for them and number of other nations, like Lithuania and Sweden. If Serf/CAD combo is so powerful, it might be worth lower income and tech slowdown when compared to Free Subjects/(Any income generating idea). Cheaper armies with bit of morale trade off is quite reasonable as well.

No real plan. Just wanted to see English events and try Orthodox nation that doesn't require Westernization to survive past mid game. I'm thinking of converting all Europeans to Orthodox, while forming Mughal Empire and enforcing the Pentarchy, but, frankly, the game is over after conquest of Gallia.

Forming Mughal Empire might bring an interesting tweek, since it puts you in Muslim tech group. Having Western units and 25% tech penalty sounds bit wierd but may be fun.
