Hello, I am playing an egalitarian xenophile materialist empire and would like to know if it is possible to get to 100 stability with this build. Pop happiness is at 100 coupled with utopian a undance but stability usually hovers around 80-90%. Is there anything I can do to further increase stability? I could get to 100 with my psionic slaving empire, one would think I could do the same with a "good" build.

There are a few buildings and jobs that give stability, like the Nobles. Not sure if there are any of those for Egalitarians though. I suppose you could get a bunch of Soldier jobs and then declare martial law, but it would probably give you more debuffs than buffs.

Good question. I can't think of any way of achieving it.

Philosophically speaking, "good" or not, why would one think it should be possible to reach perfect stability in an egalitarian society, where people are free to express themselves and rocking the boat of state is considered acceptable political behaviour?

That is exactly the reason why egalitarian society "should" be able to reach maximum stability, compared to an authoritarian society.

If expressing your disagreement is a valid way to solve problems, it seems more efficient than if rebellion is your only form of expression.

This is of course assuming an utopian society where everyone is aware and cares for each other needs.

it's not an easy change to pull off but you could swap materialist or xenophile for fan. egal. and switch a civic to shared burden for the flat +5 stability it gives

probably not worth it unless you just want to hit 100 for it's own sake though
