I know where to change the sprites with the bmp files and such, but I need to know in what file the sprites are specifically assigned to unit types. Unless there is no such file.

A sprite is assigned to a certain unit class via its unit tag which is part of the file name for both the SPR files and BMP graphic files. So for example "T-MANOWAR A-STAND C-MIN L-1" is of course for the manowar unit. It seems though that there's no working separate tag for battlecruisers, unless I'm missing something. It seems all cruisers use the T-CRUISER tag which means PC, CL, CA and BC use the same sprite.
