I think there should be an option for users to steam sync their assets privately, and not commonly shared on the workshop. I for one play CS on multiple computers and are therefor guilty of publishing crappy assets that was never intended to be used by anyone other than myself. I also quite often modify other people's assets, and would like the ability to sync these changes privately on my account, but for obvious reasons the current open system can not allow me to do that.

Also I think that steam search and filtering is real crappy. Unless you spell something 100% correct, you'll never find what you're looking for, and even then it won't be the first result. That's a steam thing, and not CO's fault.

CO need to add tabs and filters to their in-game content manager though, and also have assets sorted alphabetically in the Asset Editor, which is just a mess as is!

That said, I think we simply have to accept that there will be jewels flying under the radar. With time those mods will accumulate enough votes to become noticed. Have a bit of patience ;)

Well, TPB on the Simtropolis forum started a thread on who to follow on the Steam Workshop, but he's currently not able to keep updating it. As a result, they are trying to create a squad of people who would make such suggestions. Maybe this could work as a solution.

Not a bad idea, very similar to the one I suggested on this forum
