Hi everyone,

when I first bought this game I played on a 4 year old Windows 7 64bit PC, core i7 quadcore @3.2GHz, with a Geforce 590gtx, 6gb RAM. It ran perfectly fine and without a hitch on max settings.

I recently made a new PC, Windows 10 64bit, intel i7 5820K Overclocked to 4GHz, two Geforce gtx 980Ti's running in SLi, and 16GB of RAM. Now when I start the game up, the game hitches every 5 seconds with a slight pause and I see the FPS drop to 30fps and then make its way up to 144fps then down again every 5 seconds.

It's making my game unplayable and I'm unable to find a solution to this problem even through google.

Things I've tried: turning off SLi and running with only one GPU on. Turning off fullscreen mode and trying windowed.

Might be worth mentioning that I'm using a gsync 144Hz monitor.

Sounds probably like vcard driver or monitor related. You might try using the -limitfps xx launch option, and see if it mitigates this behavior perhaps -limitfps 60 might prevent the spikes. That or perhaps try disabling vsync in the graphic options first (fyi using the -limitfps disables vsync itself inherently). Just some thoughts if you've not tried these things.
