Hello all,

I have been away for awhile and just came back due to the release of the new dlc. After messing around with empire creation for a while I came across a combo and was wondering if it was any good.

Fanatic Spiritualist - Unrest -20 Governing Ethics Attraction +30%

Police State - Unrest -20

Exalted Priesthood - Governing Ethics Attraction +20%

Conformists - Governing Ethics Attraction +25%

So total I would have +75% to Ethics Attraction and -40 Unrest. This also does not take into account edicts, buildings or tech's.

So overall is it worth it to do this combo.

Also as a side note, I'm having trouble deciding on my other ethic to pick. I was originally leaning Authoritarian but, Xenophobe looks nice for the purge and border growth, while Pacifist looks nice for the core sector +2 and unity bonus (doesn't really fit my original theme though).

I originally went Xenophobe for my Spiritualists, but my second try of them I found more success doing Militaristic. Though when I was doing militaristic I found myself missing being able to purge undesirable xenos.

I had not thought about Militaristic, maybe something to consider. What are your thoughts on the combo of high negative unrest and bonus ethics attraction, is it worth it or should I go for other bonuses.

Go for other boni. Currently, negative unrest specifically isn't worth it since you can always just put cheap troops on your worlds. Ethics attraction is probably a matter of taste, but personaly, I do fine without any inherent boni.
