(I don't know if this was brought up before but if it was I', sorry)
I think that the spy menu should be enhanced. I understand it's a small part of the game but a thing that can decide about a nation's future should be big.
So post your ideas about how should the spy menu should be enhanced if you agree with me that it should be bigger.
My bit is about coups.

Well I think that the coup nation was pretty much useless in HoI 2.

1: The chances that it would succeed were next to nothing.
2: Coups only worked as a way to make one nation your ideology without attacking it. (Example : You're USSR and you want Colombia in the Comintern but you can't annex it and realese it as a puppet)
3: You couldn't in any way control the changes that the coup made.
4: They were pretty useless.

So what I would like to see is a menu for the coup nation thing. So for an example I'm Italy in 1944. I'm angry with Germany's doings so i decide to coup and then i can do such things as:
- Install one of my generals as the countries dictator. ( Dissent but the county will always be loyal to me and there is a very small chance it will abandon me.
- Choose the countries ministers.
- Decide if I want it to be a monarchy, democracy or a dictatorship
- Make the country give me some resources every month for "liberating" them from their former government.

Those are the things I can think of right now.

"Coups" are no longer in the game :)

See this screenshot with the intelligence screen.

And from DD6:

However the first big change is a concept we call party organisation. This is a dynamic variable that can be altered via espionage in either your home country or others and via events and decisions. This represents how well a particular ideology is organised, covering a broad brush stroke of concepts from party membership, newspaper editorial stance, the views of opinion formers in the country, actual campaigners going out trying to convince people to support them, just give you an idea. For an ideology group that is out of power it also reflects the chances of a coup d’etat, if a democracy has well organised fascist parties then the risks of a right wing coup d’etat are much greater than in a country where they have simply no organisation.

I bet the menu will remain similar, with some enhanced options. What I am really looking forward to is the govt in exile options in diplomacy and in intel.

I am sure that many options will remain as a govt in exile, but they will apply to your own nation, like smear campaign maybe (for the occupiers) funding partisans and so on...it will be great hopefully.
