It seems to me that in a multi player game spies are really a waste of time. They are too easy to kill so both sides usually end up with no spies in either country and when they do it is almost elimanted right away.

I would like to see them be a bit harder to kill even at a reduced chance to Steal techs, Sabatage etc. I have lost 6 spies in 1 turn and they were in sleep mode!!

i agree theres no reason to even have a "sleep" mode option if the spies get caught anyway

i wouldnt mind if there was still a chance to catch the spies while in sleep mode, but significantly reduced. however in my experience, in fact, putting the spies into sleep mode and they immediatly get caught..

when in turn I can just leave them there not in sleep mode and the AI never catches them

this game is so damn buggy its not even funny

I think an MP house rule forbidding their use might be appropriate while they are sorted out by Paradox developers and betas. Of course having 10 in your own country and killing off all enemy spies seems like it should be allowed, but nothing more.

In MP spying other human players is propably useless. But can't you just spy their allies and steal blueprints from them?

Hmmm

In my games I just put 10 spies up for defense in my Country and leave it at that. This new feauture in DD is in need of some serious tweaking/debugging before it becomes useful. A missed oppurtunity so far in my humble opinion. But maybe the new patch will fix this :p
