New European Game Announced...

I'm trying to set up a new campaign game with mature and dedicated players. It will be the usual 1419 or 1492 campaign with major European nations. I want 6-8 players that are available to play 2-3 times a week. We will play after work hours GMT starting maybe at 18.00 GMT and going to around 21.00 GMT or later if people are willing. There will be some house rules regarding smaller states and wars. The most important object of the game is not to win but to have fun playing your country. I don't want rude immature people that will abandon the game after a few sessions. If you are interested you should contact me on my hotmail adress or on my ICQ.

I would like to be in your game as well, and BTW, I don't think the english version is necessary since we would have to play via vnet anyway (ever tried to play TCP/IP with 8 people? It doesn't really work out).

I now have read through the 11 pages of this thread.

I didnt' mean to "hi-jack" this thread but I will continue in the thread named "The Grand Europa Universalis Campaign" I apologize for this. It was unintended.

I just want to say that I have played long stable sessions 3-4 hours 10-15 years without a single crash. Different country versions so is IS possible to get a game going!

I will refer to House Rule discussions in this thread for the game Im playing to make things as brief as possible.

I already have contact with many of the players from this thread.

As soon as we have a stable host and some scheduled playing times we will start with players able to connect.

This thread has kinda died out... people started to resignate because we couldnt get it going yet.
So I don't think people are mad you hijacked it. It's rather a new motivation for us who are still here to go on .)

I know stable games are possible, I've played overseas with 8 people for a couple of hours w/o crashing. I believe we just need a very good host.

I think it's not much of a problem to have 10 or more people involved in a game because someone's always missing and we need stand-ins to continue...

I don't think we should have too many houseroules though they are important but too many can be a pain in the ass

You must have a lot of time...reading this tread is like a horror movie . I agree with Ganja...ists no hi-jack i m happy that there is somebody willing to initiate a dedicated game. Some participants of this treads already dropped meanwhile. i think we will leave this tread too...........
