Wie ich schon sagte, ich bin ab morgen eine Woche weg, würde dann (wenn es geht) ab nächste Woche Sonntag mitspielen.

@Eliasar: ich glaube aber eher nicht, dass Brandenburg es ohne die geerbten Gebiete militärisch oder wirtschaftlich mit Polen oder Österreich aufnehmen kann, und wenn die ein Spieler hat, werden die ganz sicher was gegen meine Expansionspläne haben. Außerdem kriege ich, wenn ich die Gebiete vorzeitig annektiere, keinen Schild auf die Provinzen - oder hat Brandenburg 1492 die gleichen CBs wie in EU1 (das wäre ziemlich scheiße und abstrus)?

Since yesterday most of us know that EU2 is a big shit for MP. Especially if you want to play with more than 3 or 4 players.
Even with superp connection and only europeanbased players it is impossible to get a dedicated game. It´s a pitty as EU2 should be the best game for MP purpose.
So we have no other choice but to give up the idea of a longeterm game or to split into smaller groups with max 3-4 players. Maybe we have also to find out.....who is compatible with who.....as it seems that some of us have a bad connection to each other whilst others are working well.
So if anybody is still interested than post here, run some tests, and find out the players which are best compatible.

I really don't understand why it is the way it is.....

Last night, at about 2am, Laex and I played a MP game via V-net with a bunch of Spanish and an American player. We were 6 and didn't even crash a single time.

I don't get it. Every freaking game runs smooth but the one I'm really interested in is never gonna work.

Maybe we need a better host. I don't know. Or we'll have to split up. Really sad though...

I dunno, if anyone of you wants to do some testig, feel free to msg me. I wish we'd get this going some time.... :/

Today i got a letter from my provider that they increased the down and uploadspeed for my cable.... i have now 600/128 but still a crappy machine with 600 Mhz

Maybe its also a matter of the time when you are playing. To much traffic at 19.00.......
I noticed that you and laex never crash when playing allnitelong.
So we are now looking for a new species.....the allienallnitelongplayer
I heart that the species was first discovered on the canarian islands
But honestly...lets try to find players willing to play from 22.00 or 23.00 h until 02.00 or later...

actually this was my last allnightlong game so far.

Tommorow I gotta start working. Porbably I'll have to get up at 8am every morning so no more playing until 5am

Our host was ChaosXP (?), a french guy. maybe he's interested, we should ask him.


And boy I can tell you it's a paine in the ass to play a MP game with 4/6 spaniards
but then again it gives me lots of practice...

You wont believe it...but we are going to run another test to suceed in MP gameplaying today.

Yesterday i run a test with Ganja....and we had no problems.

The thing is i dont have a problem with connection... but i dont have a connection at all.
My provider is sending a technican...no idea when.

Hi again! I've been away all week on work. I am now back in civilized parts of Sweden (read Stockholm).

I have not lost my hopes of getting a game going yet, even if my attempts to host last sunday was a real disaster. If we are going to do a full scale attempt this coming sunday I would like to run some tests tonight and tomorrow.

I'll be free to test at about 22.00 tonight. Are any of you guys up for it?

Nein, ich hab nur die deutsche... was ist denn das Problem mit vnet, dass ihr nicht darüber spielt (dann gäbe es den Versionskonflikt, soweit ich das verstanden habe, nicht)? Bisher habt ihr es doch nur über IP versucht, oder?
Ich habe übrigens am Donnerstag um halb acht Zeit.

ich hab keine zeit, mein opa hat geburtstag...

Vnet ist scheisse weil es oft nicht online ist. sprich: kein spiel möglich.
Und ich hab keine lust davon abhängig zu sein. ist echt ärgerlich wenn v-net ein ganzes wochenende down ist. ausserdem läuft es noch instabiler als IP...
