Hey, I'm almost finished with my first project but I can't seem to get the normal or specular map to show up in game. I named them right with _n and _s and they even work in 3DS Max. Does anyone know what could be happening? Thanks

Here's a 3DS Max Render...

Hey, I'm almost finished with my first project (...) Here's what I'm getting in game.

Very lovely plant you made. If we talk about in-game rendering I worry that designers in CO are fans of idea that plastic is fantastic.
You can change color correction LUT to less saturated but I think that main part of "plastic effect" is produced by shader.

Interesting.....Nice plants BTW.
That's a huge difference from the original textures. Is there a way to compensate by lowering the diffuse color and saturation way down?

Thanks!

I already did reduce the colors down... earlier it was super bright green, I don't mind the color green that is in game atm because it fits the aesthetic of the game. My issues is that the Normal and Specular Maps aren't showing up to increase the texture. I tried turning the Specular Map all white to see if maybe it wasn't enough to force the game to make it turn into glass but that didn't work letting me know that it's not reading it or something.

I will subscribe to this the moment it is uploaded, lol. Fantastic work. I want fields of this for my legalized recreational use districts! Is the plan to have them grow in agricultural districts?

I hadn't exactly thought of that, I was planning on making a Medicinal Marijuana Dispensary. I think I will make an agriculture plot for spawning in agriculture districts though now that you mention it.

How did you get your plants in game? I tried putting a fbx model in the addon folder as explained in the wiki. I see the model in the list of the asset editor but nothing happens when I click continue. What did I miss? It's a fern I made months ago. Just testing things out. I clicked on "Tree" BTW

I will be getting some of your trees too.....

You have to have a UVW mapped Diffuse Texture to go with your object otherwise it will not allow you to import it into the asset editor, it will show you the name but it will not load the object if you don't have texture maps.

Visit this thread to read all the issues people have had on importing, you may find your solution here... I did
