I write this post just to notify to Paradox that in Spain Victoria would have to be released November 14th,m but in fact today, December 12th, it's impossible to find a copy of the game in any store of the country... I have been thinking even in downloading the hacked version, just to start playing and take a look at the game, but I hate piracy effects in companies like Paradox, who develops the most amazing games I have ever seen. What I try to express is that many of the Spanish fans of Paradox products porbably will fall into temptation of downloading an illegal copy of the game because of the long delay of the Spanish release date.

Maybe you should e-mail Friendware and complain? I don't think Paradox can do much about this...

Before you make such a post you should check your stores more carefully. While I am not in Spain myself, I do follow the forums at Meristation, and I know for a fact that Victoria has been for sale in Spain for at least 1 week already. It may be out of stock, but it certainly was released.

If my memory doesn't fail me I heard that people got it at FNAC, Corte Ingles and such.

Beleive me, my friend, I tried in Meristation too, but they don't have the game yet for sale. When I mailed them their answer was: "... in a few days we will have it in our stores..." In fact, Centro Mail Stores, the most important PC and Console games retailers in Spain, told me about 5th December as a late release date, and after that, they placed the new spanish release date to 12th December. Yesterday I phoned them just to realise the game will not get to stores until 15th December or later...

Sniff.... I need the game.... I can't just wait reading your posts without tryint it out.... sniff....

I am really surprised. As I said previously, I have been in the Meristation forums for the past 2 weeks and a lot of people from Spain claim to have gotten the Spanish version of Victoria (which by the way requires the CD to run unlike the US and Pan versions).

I would suggest you pay a visit to the Meristation forums and ask around all those folks who already have it. Either I am hallucinating, or there are quite a few already.

I have been playing with my copy for several days now. It is indeed available at the stores, including El Corte Ingles, Centromail (I have seen several at Madrid Centromail-Callao today) and FNAC (where I got mine). I don't know where you do live, Ylzania, but those people at the phone didn't know a thing!
